2012 RECIPIENT OF THE R.G. SMITH AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN NAVAL AVIATION ART
Robert was recently received the R.G Smith Award by the National Naval Aviation Museum Foundation and featured in their quarterly periodical "Foundation".  Three of Robert's paintings are currently on display at the Naval Aviation Museum's exhibit that celebrates 100 years of Marine Corps aviation.  Robert's painting, "Downing of Flogger" was acquired by the museum for its permanent collection.

Robert D. Fiacco is a classically trained artist who specializes in aviation illustrations, portraiture, and Landscape.  Robert attended the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art where he studied life drawing, perspective, color theory, and life painting. Robert combines an impressionistic style with a realistic focus, the result is a beautiful rendition in oil.
